Incentivize employees…. Reward…. Ok, call it what it is… a bribe
Instead of lashing out at employees for the extra five minutes they took for their break, focus on increasing productivity and sandwich the criticism in between positivity.
Require all employees, exempt and non-exempt, to track their productivity which will also allow you to audit the exempt/non-exempt status.
Greet every employee, treat each employee with respect and dignity to create a working environment that encourages productivity and reward for excellence.
